We are excited to announce that iPronics Programmable Photonics has been awarded the EIC Transition grant to be funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) in its first ever call.
Our 2-year project, INSPIRE, will receive a €2.5-million grant and will have access to EIC Business Acceleration Services including coaching, mentoring, and partnering events. It will also be eligible for the Fast Track scheme to access the EIC Accelerator for supporting commercialisation and scale up phases.
This new step will allow us to unleash the power of Programmable Photonics in different applications and functionalities including 5/6G communications, intelligent transceivers, IoT-driven industry 4.0, switching engines, hardware accelerators for edge and cloud data centres and tensor cores for machinelearning and neuromorphic computing.
Exciting times lie ahead, keep tuned!
