We are a multidisciplinary team that includes scientists and engineers with over 30 years experience in the field of photonics as well as high-tech entrepreneurs. Programmable integrated photonics is our passion.

We bring a radically and truly flexible new approach that enables multifunctional operation and fast reconfiguration by combining a common hardware platform and a powerful and versatile programming, control and optimization software.

What is our value proposition?

iPronics core product is the Field Programmable Photonics Gate Array (FPPGA), which is designed to provide similar advantages as those of Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), Digital Signal Processors (DSPs) and microprocessors in electronics. Programming Light

iPronics is making the computational power of photonics commercially affordable. We have pioneered the field of programmable photonics and developed the first general-purpose photonic processor capable of programming high-speed light signals on-chip with unprecedented flexibility.

iPronics processors share a common hardware platform that is reconfigurable by software. This cost-effective solution enables the same hardware to be applied to limitless commercial applications with a voracious appetite for computational power, including 5G communication, data centers, artificial intelligence, autonomous driving, quantum computing and IoT.

Our Team

iPronics founding team spins off from researchers at the Photonics Research Labs, iTEAM Research InstituteUniversitat Politècnica de València, Spain, currently leading the research activity in programmable photonics. They also bring extensive experience in the field of integrated photonics, radio-over-fiber systems and microwave photonics. In addition, our team is complemented with high-tech entrepreneurs.
