Announcing iPronics’ $125 Million Series B to Scale Optical Networking
Today, I’m proud to share that we’ve raised $125 million in Series B funding. This significant milestone is a testament to our team’s relentless execution and marks a major leap forward as we scale our operations to power the next generation of AI infrastructure.
A year and a half after our Series A, it’s exciting to see how far we’ve come! We’re scaling the company, expanding into new markets, and solving one of the biggest bottlenecks in AI systems. As clusters continue to grow, power, bandwidth, and the ability to reconfigure connectivity in real time become increasingly critical.
We’re grateful to Maverick Silicon and Light Street Capital for co-leading this round. It’s also a privilege to have NVIDIA join the round alongside several new and existing investors. With this round, our total funding to date is $177 million.
At the board level, we welcome two new members: Manish Muthal of Maverick Silicon and Geoff Tate, an advisor to Light Street Capital. Together, they bring a phenomenal track record of scaling global tech platforms, with leadership experience at Intel, Xilinx, Broadcom, AMD, and Rambus, as well as board experience at Ayar Labs. We are also proud to welcome Young Sohn, founding member of Catalight Capital, who joins us as an advisor. As the former Corporate President and Chief Strategy Officer of Samsung, former CEO of Inphi, and current board member at Arm and Cadence Design Systems, Young adds immense strategic weight. Having their support and guidance is deeply validating.
Adding their collective expertise makes me confident and excited about our next chapter. iPronics has come a long way since its early days as a spin-off from the Universitat Politècnica de València. That same raw ingenuity and excitement are still driving us, only now they are also backed by the experienced leadership and capital needed to take iPronics into its next stage of growth.
This funding positions iPronics for a new phase of growth in AI networking as we expand our operations, accelerate commercial deployments, strengthen ecosystem partnerships, and establish a stronger footprint in Silicon Valley.
